How we verify

Pricing

Verified prices on this site were read from the tool's official pricing page, not copied from another directory. On Jun 22, 2026 we fetched the pricing page for each verified entry, recorded the tiers, and cross-checked the most-searched tools by hand before publishing. Each pricing table carries a stamp with the exact date we checked it; entries we haven't re-verified yet are marked unverified on the page. If a stamp is old, that's the truth — we never re-date a stamp without re-checking the page.

Price history is tracked from June 2026 forward. We do not backfill history from archives and present it as our own monitoring; until a price actually changes under our watch, you'll see a single verified data point and the date we took it.

Screenshots

Tool screenshots are captured by us with a headless browser at build time — they are not marketing assets supplied by vendors. When a capture fails, we show a clearly designed placeholder card rather than a stale or borrowed image.

External signals

Numbers like GitHub stars or Hacker News points are fetched from public APIs at build time and always carry an "as of" date. Where no real signal exists we show nothing — never a zero, an estimate, or an invented score. For the same reason there are no star ratings anywhere on this site: we have no review base, so rendering one would be fiction.

How profiles are written

We find tools through public signals — Hacker News, GitHub, and free public APIs — never through paid submissions. Drafting is AI-assisted under hard honesty rules: no invented pricing, no ratings, no claims of hands-on testing we didn't do. Every draft lands as a pull request, and nothing publishes until a human reviews and merges it. Drafts we're less confident in are flagged for extra verification before they count as verified.

Why no named author: this site is run by one person who publishes under the AITrendTool organization rather than a byline. Every claim is source-linked so you can check it yourself, and nothing publishes without human review.

What we don't do

• No pay-to-list, no paid placement, no "featured" slots for sale. Listing is free and editorial.
• No affiliate links today. If that ever changes, links will be disclosed on the page where they appear.
• No fabricated ratings, review counts, momentum scores, or "user sentiment" summaries.
• No invented testing claims. Where we haven't used a tool hands-on, we say what we verified instead: its pricing, platforms, and documented capabilities.
• No undisclosed AI text: profiles are AI-drafted, human-reviewed, and we say so.

Corrections

Pricing changes fast and we make mistakes. If you find one, email hello@aitrendtool.com and we'll re-verify against the official page and fix it.
