What is Kittl?

Kittl is a design editor that runs entirely in a browser, aimed less at general marketing graphics than at people who put artwork onto physical products — t-shirts, hoodies, stickers, labels, packaging and posters. Its distinguishing feature set is typography: text warps, layered shadows, outlines and textures applied non-destructively, which is the reason it caught on with the vintage-and-retro merch crowd. Around that sits an asset library of curated fonts, graphics and photos, a template catalogue of over 100,000 layouts on paid tiers, and a product mockup generator for turning a flat design into a listing image.

The AI layer is a model aggregator rather than a single in-house generator. Image generation routes to Flux, DALL-E 3, Ideogram, Google Imagen 4, Nano Banana and Seedream; video routes to Veo 3.1, Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro and PixVerse V5. All of it draws from one token balance tied to your plan, and the editor shows the token cost of an action before you run it. Text-to-vector generation produces editable paths rather than raster output, which is the part that matters for print. Supporting tools — vectorizer, background remover, upscaler, reframe, remix — round it out, and Creative Flows chain several steps from a single prompt. Pricing is per editor: viewers on a shared project are free, additional editors are billed at the plan rate.

Who is it for?

Kittl fits people whose output is a printable file rather than a screen mockup, and whose bottleneck is typography and asset licensing rather than pixel-level control. The free plan is a genuine evaluation tier — no card, 200 tokens, five projects — but it exports at low resolution and grants personal use only, so it cannot produce anything sellable. That makes Pro the real entry point for anyone with a storefront, and it is where the commercial licence, vector export and unlimited projects begin.
